Humble Independent School District HISD began over 100 years ago as a one-room schoolhouse with 12 students, a teacher and a four-month school term. Today, with 30 schools, more than 27,700 students and over 1,700 teachers, Humble ISD is nationally recognized for the outstanding education it offers to students.
